Winds of Change

Winds of Change

As the winds of change begin to blow
You spread your wings and prepare to go
Where they will carry your remains unknown
You have worked for this as through the years you have grown

New experiences will fill your days
The sun's light will beam beautiful colorful rays
Though I want to be selfish and keep you here with me
At this time that is not how it is supposed to be

I’ve been fortunate to experience days filled with you
They were days that before my life never knew
As I watch you soar off from this place
I will always feel your warmth as I look upon your face

If your path ever finds its way close to mine
I hope to find you are happy and doing fine
As the winds carry you to the end of my view
Remember one thing, I Love You

Thank you for writing this, Bee.... You know I'd much rather read this type of poetry from you than the dark ones.....
Hugs and Love
Your Forever Friend,
Jenni
