I Loved you before I knew I could;
But a speck of ardour growing inside.
Cleansing my ‘life’ ;
For the unknown.
Nothing could take the smile from me;
Sweet contentment;
Secretly passed, from mother to child.
Liberation from the nightmare;
From my ‘life’ .
I have purpose;
The great honour;
Of being your mother.
Beautiful and so delicate;
Mine to have and to hold;
If only for a gratifying while.
No one I rather be with;
I have nothing but gratitude;
For the terrifying and thrilling adventure;
My Miraculous Redemption Child .

You can really sense how much feeling was put into this poem. Well done. |
