Years of waiting are no longer to bear

He couldn't wait to reach his motherland
To cherish its people and kiss its sand

Impressive strength rised in the body of his
The luggage seemed lighter than it truely is

" To the airport please " , how exciting to say
Is this car really slow or is it a long way

Breakfast, coffee, and it's only nine
Time chose to stop or is it just fine

Cities are starting to look so small
As he flew higher above it all

With a hidden smile he rests his eyes
Happiness and joy filling the skies

Silence interrupted by a deep air hole
" Calm down, it's nothing, we're under control "

But things got complicated that sombre night
No one understood what happened on that flight

" Already arrived ! Did i sleep that long?!
What happened to me, what is wrong "

His soul has spoken of lost aching words,
Of grief that in the heart deeply hurts

His body remained still as he sadly escaped
A man's dream and life in one night were raped

No time for goodbyes, so fast he was gone
In an unexpected journey at the birth of dawn

In the middle of the crowd it was hard to realize
That the sun will no longer on his body shine

While life continues, he will be stuck in the air
A floating spirit with all the passengers to share [comments] => 2 [counter] => 315 [topic] => 21 [informant] => gina [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Oh poor thing you have that fear in you don't you?
Well I must say, your poetry has evolved!

Weeping may endure for a night, but
Joy comes in the morning! Be certain
there will be a joyous reunion!
Blessings,
