i saw you standing there
with you long blonde hair
the glances i did take
to see that you werent fake
your smile lit up my heart
and away my heart did race
together we would be
like two love birds on a tree

the first time we went out
all i wanted was a shout
for i could barely keep it in
my feelings were tryin to win
the times we shared together
no matter what the weather
you could always make me smile
thats all i could desire

i dont know what did happen
when it all began to change
the smile vanished from your face
and my heart could barely race
the evening we broke us apart
felt like a dart thru my heart
the love i had felt for you

I like this.... it is very sweetly written.
It is sad when, once passionate feelings disappear over time.
