Array ( [sid] => 15668 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => A Final Escape to Another Beginning [time] => 2003-04-06 18:05:00 [hometext] => We are all lost in the world of love, sadly it seems to consume us for such vast amounts of time.... [bodytext] => I once lived a life of turmoil,
Life I said was full of nothing but dismay,
I thought closely,
I thought clearly for once my life,
I was being lead the wrong way,
Why sit here in this dust of death,
When I myself can escape this very mess,
Why suffer and sit in this dirt,
When I can lift myself from this very earth,
Today I thought with concern,
Today I though with clear thoughts,
Today I saw something I never saw before,
Lift myself from this hole,
And rise withing this wake of terror,
Close my eyes see the dark,
Wake up to see the light of day,
Wake up to what life has to offer,
Rather then live in this world,
I thought only offered me,
Trouble,
Hardships,
And sorrow,
But lift myselfs from this all,
And dont live in this wake,
But rather,
Build something else more,
Enlightening,
Enlightening as a Light House,
Up so high from this darkness I shut myself in,
I shall make a new sun for me,
For me in my new revival,
My reawakening from sorrow,
And a new beginning to happiness.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
