Wallowing in worry,
in a trance of dread,
hope is about to plummet off life's cliff;
my mind is trapped in its realm of dark thoughts.
Scared to death of losing you,
seeing life's fragile thread flirting with a dagger,
if only I could take the dagger's blow,

I know how you feel. I've been in this situation. There was one time when the thread wasn't strong enough. I hope it'll be strong enough for you.
