[title] => The Writer's Block [A short poem]
[time] => 2010-01-09 04:14:09
[hometext] => The Writer's Block is a poetry I wrote when I wasn't getting any fresh ideas. i thought why not wrote about it and there you go! :)
[bodytext] => I lift my leather-bound notebook and place it on my desk, I fetch my trusty fountain pen to begin writing with zest And as the nib embraces the parchment, I feel a feeling so strange... My mind feels numb -- a void where ideas should be, All of a sudden I feel so deranged; Tears of blue emanate from my pen and the parchment soaks them up, Life blood seeps through the papyrus as my pen snivels and sniffles Caught up in an eternal limbo, the duo waits and waits But their master stares right ahead with naught a sign of life; Try as I might, the words just wouldn't come forth, It seemed as though the very well itself where my ideas were born had dried up. And as I wade through the harrowing maze of my mind, looking for clarity in a thought astray... I find none. How could it be? Have I finally gone balmy all the way? And then a thought struck me that threw me into shock Could I have contracted what they call, 'the writer's block'?
