The clouds come but
They do not hide,
The sun away
From our sight.
The rain keeps coming.
Please don't stop.
Forever falling,
Forever to drop.
The light shines through
The mist of the day.
It won't end tomorrow,
Forever to stay.
Droplets hit the ground.
Soothing sound it makes.
Blue, as the sky is,
Rain, it still creates.

I love the metaphor!
Listening to the rain is hypnotic.... it reminds me all things precious it quenches beneath it...
