There’s not a moment in my life that I didn’t get judged by the colour of my skin.

Teachers, Colleagues, Strangers, Even Friends

Can always make you feel like you don’t belong just by commenting on something to do with the colour of your skin.

Yeah, People may say that they judge you on your ability or intellect but deep down, you know the first thing they see when you walk into that office, classroom, building or street is the colour of your skin.

And thanks to stereotypes, we are judged instantly on being a good person or a bad person.

A feeling, a comment, a touch or even a look is enough to tell you that someone is uncomfortable with you.

Without even knowing you.
Basically judging you.
On looks.

Fact of the matter. This world will never change unless we all bind together and paint ourselves silver or blue.

Because right now, only thing that can get you somewhere in life is knowing who you are.

Or what you are.

Black, Brown, Yellow, White

Green, Blue, Red, Pink

It’s All the same to me.

A bold statement, very well penned!
I enjoyed this read, & as long as we know who we are, that should be the
only thing that really matters. Some say ignorance is bliss....
but i'd much rather be blissfully surrounded by rainbows & the beauty each prism exudes...
Great write, & a warm welcome to YPDC!

I wish it was all the same to everyone well written and a point well made.
