[hometext] => I wrote this one a couple of years ago during a particularly difficult time in my life.
[bodytext] => As I stand here on this lonely bridge and gaze at the water below,
I wonder how things ever got so bad; my pain you'll never know. And in the icy darkness I stand and contemplate, the consequences that may arise from my dank and watery fate. For I cannot continue on this roller-coaster ride. You've cut me off and stripped me of my sanity and pride. I wish that you could see I'm only human, nothing more, and rejection has left me standing at desperation's door. So I'll take one step and soon I'll drift like seaweed on the tide; and perhaps you'll spare a thought now and then for the endless hours I've cried. Times I reached out to hold you but you never had a minute to spare, but I blindly went on hoping that deep down you did still care. Now I know the ugly truth, your heart was never with me. So go to her arms my darling... for tonight, I will set you free.
