I'm no longer able to create color to fill in this empty space
How I long to fill my canvas with the vibrant colors of life, love, happiness
These colors dry now, carelessly left uncovered ruined by the sun
How could I be so careless?
How I miss the stroke of my painters brush
It being of no use must be abandoned for the sharp lines of a pen
Still, with this pen I will create unending lines
Lines that stretch across my universe
Maybe someday they will be filled in with beautiful colors and the sharp edges smoothed by a brush

I like it. It is, however, missing something...
I see a lot of potential in the lines

Still, with this pen I will create unending lines
Lines that stretch across my universe

Always, abraham

I really like the analogy and metaphor. Seems you have created great imagery while comparing it with difficult life decisions.

Take care and keep up the good work. smiley

lots of great imagery in this with paralells to life. I can imagine the canvass and the artists frustration but also the hope in continuing to paint/live until there are beautiful colours ie hope for a better life
