The mind knows no boundaries.
Brick walls, our obstacles
Create the struggles.
Decisions, the summer
And winter breach our mind
At wrong and right times
Creativity, the wave that
Crashes over me,
And refreshes.
Imagination, the rubber band
Pulled back from my fingers,
And set free
To take off,
And dream.
Dreaming is the cave in
Which we hide in
To rest and hide
From true ambitions
I agree with whoever said
“The pen is mightier than the sword”
Pen can show:
Thoughts, imagination, dreams,
And more than I can explain
All of this
Comes from one thing,
The strongest thing ever,
The mind.

good god, now that's a great little poem you've penned, as i read this i felt an almost ancient epicness to this, as one of the great poets of old may have written, its almost as though i had taken a journey with myself and of myself while reading this, and i totally agree with your words about the mind,

this is a very power full piece that really got to me, great writing and a deep concept that came across briliantly1!!

keep it up!!!
