I only ask this because it's you I care for
Can you give me a sign that everything's ok
Besides I need to know anyway
If I don't how can I be a caring friend

A lot has changed from what I've been told
You're different; not the way you used to be
What happened to the person I know
I know he's still there I just have to find him

Please tell me where my beloved friend is
I need him to know I'm there for him
He can find me waiting for him
For he is the one who needs to be loved

So my friend please come back to me
I can't stand to see you miserable his way
And if you let me I will love you

Have you found what you're looking for
IS everything all right

can feel the anguish and the frustration of trying to help someone find themselves again with them mayb not realising how much pain you are going through
