As I sit with nothing left,
But the cold hard space to my right and,
Left with just the soreness felt,
Being alone and in pain is twice as bad as first made out.
But the hounds they are a calling,
But nay hounds of love are these,
Ravenous beasts of plagues and thieves will set themselves upon me,
They will devour and tear apart my woeful limbs and young old heart,
To leave me with but nothing left but the cold hard space to my right and.

Jimmy,
I really liked this, never mind the lines etc, it is good just the way it is.........
I find with my own writing(which is suffering badly right now) if I try to hard to follow (rules) it is a bigger mess than it already is ......
I am sorry for the pain in your heart, I hope you feel better soon.
(young old heart) GOD! That is solid, deeply emotive right there.
