My dear…what is it that you do
That makes me want to spend every minute with you?
I spoke not a word about my true feelings for you,
But you’re leaving, and I don’t know what I’ll do.
When I run to your arms to flee from my life
I forget all my problems and keep out of strife
But when I lay my head down at night,
There’s a silent battle inside that I fight.
There are things from you that I want so much,
I crave for your smile, your presence, your touch.
When I’m with you, the time flies by too fast
And I want to stay longer so this feeling will last.
But soon in time, you’ll be saying your goodbye’s
And I’ll leave once more with tears in my eyes,
So my dear, the only thing left to do
Is to stop myself falling in love with you.
