"TRAVELER'S IN THE SKY"

Light of day paints it's beams upon
my bedroom wall.......
I stir, half awake, I see the sun's
delightful scrawl.......
Not a cloud in the pale blue sky......
Lots to do today, no time for more
"shuteye!"

N'er miss one day of exercise,
I want to live another year,
As I lift my weights,
What's this?
Paint brush strokes in the blue sky?
Can't make it out, it's unclear?

O'er rooftops of "Snoozer's"
tugged in below........
"Traveler's in the sky"...East, West,
North, South....limbo.
Jet Streams, like calling cards drift behind
Streamlined, and maligned, in the temple of the sky
enshrined.

~~~~~~~~
Wondering, thinking outloud as I strain......
Steady course please maintain.......
Each airplane suspended remain,
Destination safely sustain.
Created for all you
“A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dreams of a faraway place.
A traveler on the plane sees the farmhouse… and thinks of home.”
Hi Connie,
I was right up there with them - jetstreaming
across the skies - not caring where we land - not
caring 'if' we land!
Ah ........ dreamscape!!
Nice one, Connie.
