An empty book I cannot read So much hurt I have to hide A shoelace that has come untied Where’s the brake? I want to stop My head explodes, I hear it pop Going mad I pull my hair I scream out loud “This isn’t fair!” What have I ever done so wrong? This painful battle, why so long? Broken glass cuts at my feet Gushing blood, there is no seat Weakened body begins to die Angels falling from the sky Nothing is left, an empty shell To love again?
