In the company of myself
Even though you claimed to love me
You left never to return
My loneliness is suffocating
And I beg for it to be taken
To have this weight lifted
But even in the company of others
I feel the dark waters pull me down
This life you left me in
Is bitter and baron
I wish for it to end
I pray for your return
But still in the dark I remain
Frozen as ice
Without your light
Mine to is extinguished
I need your fire to get me through this
Perhaps that is selfish
And perhaps I am a fool
But love has made me blind
And all I can see is a life with you
For without you I could never be
I can feel it now even in this short time
My soul is dying without its partner
That soul mate it is you
I will not let you leave without a fight
But alas if my heart does not call yours
In the same way that yours calls mine
It was simply not meant to be
And neither was I.

You left me here
In the company of myself
Even though you claimed to love me
