When I leave, there will not remain a trace
No words, no sounds, just the memory of my face
When I am gone, a few tears I know will fall
Though not enough to wash the memory wall

When I leave, the world will be the same
Soon after, they will not even know my name
When I am gone, your eyes will return to clear and bright
The clouded sadness will fade so you can see the light

When I leave, there will be no time for good-byes
No time to release the feelings kept in disguise
When I am gone, I will watch from Heaven above
I will forever hold in my heart, your love
