Like words in a book, found in a look,
Or put in a pot and cooked
If I only could I would gave it a name

For you have something about you others lack
An attraction magnetic that can’t be ignored
A shot of Black Velvet waiting to be poured
The whitest white in a world turned black

Don’t let your beauty become ugly and sad
Forgotten in a poem a poet once had
Find a path and walk it, find some truth and talk it
But don’t let your escape from reality spin alcoholic

Don’t fade like the stars when the night goes to sleep
Become lost like the pale moon swallowed in the dark
Or flame out like the fire that has misplaced its spark
Continue to climb even when the mountain gets steep
Swim in the ocean when the water gets deep

Look to a light that you don’t always see
Knowing that it shines in people like you and me
For out of every goodbye there comes a hello
A bright blue made from both green and yellow

So find movement in every stop sign
Sing along to each Bohemian Rhapsody line
Remember the good and leave the rest behind
Because you can’t hit rewind on a good time
But if you look hard enough you just might find
It written in your back pages of Yellowstone 2009
