Boys..*sigh*

“Untitled”

He tip toes in her door,
Trying not to make a sound.
She greets him with a kiss,
Then ensures that no one is around.
“It’s just a little fun” he says,
And she timidly complies.
Despite her raoring like a lion,
There is pure fear within her eyes.
She goes along with what he says,
As if it were not new.
While deep inside she crumbles,
Not knowing what to do.
“Everyone plays this game” she thinks,
“C’mon you’re a big girl!”
But oh how she wishes her mommy and daddy,
Could save her from this world.
Save her from her choices,
And satan’s little elf.
But most of all she wishes,
They could save her from herself.
A sharp pain then surges through her,
As though she has been scarred.
He tries to “make it better” and says,
“the first time’s always hard.”
Her thoughts are all replaced now,
As the pain begins to grow.
He sees the tears run down her childish face,
But the true reason he will never know.
She cries not for this pain,
The least that she will see.
She cries for the pain,
The pain that is to be.
A pain far worst than physical,
One which her conscience will produce.
A pain she can’t escape,
Not even with excuse.
A pain that will cause her thoughts,
And confidence to disperse.
A pain of knowing that she has allowed herself to be degraded,
And that she can’t reverse.

Oh Beck, I think this is so raw and descriptive, that it pains even
the most experienced of writers (and i'm
certainly not one of them!), to know what
to say sometimes. It is heart stopping.
But I'd like to comment if that's ok? Star x x x

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
