And I want to get dressed now

The wind is fierce against my skin
It strips me naked to the core
My heart ripped open for all to see
How did I get here?
I lay, bleeding salty tears

Very dark and intimidating. Captures the dark side of something that so many people try to make light of. Glad it's purely fictional..

It's so sad and what an awakening
that when you are really down and out
the world turns it's back on you, not a friend in sight
only then when we've been to the bottom
do we know that in ourselves dwells
that true courage strength to move on
this world can strip us bare leave us cold
but we musn't let it break us
fantastic revealation greatly brave
