[hometext] => I know it has been a while since I have posted but I have been thru some rough times. This poem reflects me current state of mind.
[bodytext] => The room surrounded by darkness A shivering cold wandering The skin icey blue And the eyes so empty Open mouth, dried lips Muffled sounds from the world around Brain in a slowmotion Who is this woman staring at me From the window inside A frail look, hair a mess She looks so old but yet so young Fragile hand touching the skin I feel her hand on mine Her eyes with such a sadness I feel her pain deep within me I take a closer look At the woman in the window I recognise her eyes, The shape of her face Could this really be?
