As I shout out loud I rub my eyes so that I can see.
On my way to the bathroom I stubbed my toe,
Someone left the seat up, when guys will learn not to do that, God may never know.
There is clothes everywhere, toothpaste all over the counter and it smells like horse dung fresh off the farm.
As I poured water into the back of the coffee maker I watched about 2 cups of it drizzle out of the pot and off of my arm.
For some reason I decided to do laundry before I left and flooded the basement with water.
As I got in the shower I realized what I had done when I tried to make it hotter.
As I stood there with the cold water beating on my back I chose for some dumb reason to stay in there longer and shave!
Then my little sister barges in, causing me to jump and cut my leg, only for her to open the curtain let out a chuckle then wave!
By then I screamed once again in anger as the shampoo oozes over my eyes and into my right ear.
It's 7 in the morning and already I'm thinking about BEER!
As I got out of the shower I thought, "It's going to be one of those days."
You know the ones when you hit every red light, make lots of "uh oh's," have sooo much to do, and people are so annoying that Who really needs them anyways?!?!
Then all in efforts to think positive I respond to myself "Hey you never know, Today I may be blessed with a break!"
Either way today and every day I'll get what I get-
And whatever that may be I do my best to like it and not make a big mistake.
I've learned that life will pull, get right on top of, stretch and even break every nerve,
But if you do your best, work hard, try to stay happy, and learn to love it you'll get what you deserve!

Thanks, and yes, lots of those days for me. Enough to write 20 poems but this one squares it off pretty good for me...Heather
