Array ( [sid] => 155024 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => OHIO Pt. I & II [time] => 2009-11-14 11:39:19 [hometext] => To the best place ever on the Earth whaer I've once left my heart. My Love, love ya, miss ya, hope to see ya someday... [bodytext] => PT. I

I was seventeen years old,
When I arrived in Ohio for the first time,
I was that kinda people,
In whose way you even wouldn't look,
And I'd like so much to make you mine.
Cos you were everything I ever dreamt of,
A lot of water flowed away since then,
But I wanna keep you and Ohio on my mind
I wanna keep you and Ohio on my mind
I wish to keep it all in my heart.

Somehow our ways crossed
And I felt the thing I've never felt before
And I've understood, that you're the one,
You've sunk deeply in my heart,
And I won't let you fall, no way.
A lot of waters flowed away since then,
I'm trying to keep you and Ohio on my mind
Trying to keep you and Ohio on my mind
I wish to keep it all in my heart.

Couple of years already passed,
But my heart don't release you till now,
And Ohio without you don't look the same,
But every kiss, every touch, babe,
It's all anyhow connected with you,
I can't forget you, no matter what I do...
A lot of waters flowed away since then,
I have to keep you and Ohio on my mind
I have to keep you and Ohio on my mind
I wish to keep it all in my heart.

PT. II

Once upon a time we've had to said goodbye.
Blindly I was convincing myself I had to go.
What's the use in looking for who's right & who's wrong
Cos life got cold as if the thread between us is torn.
I keep passing the ships that come and gone,
And I feel that my life's empty without you
I keep blaming myself and partly you, babe,
For letting me go without willing me to stay.

Was it right or was it wrong?
It makes me wonder but ain't no answers.
Has it changed anything since I've been gone
Or things for you still look the same?
How does it feel when you meet the sunset
Far away from me on the other side of planet?
Who keeps you warm instead of me,
When I'm here alone in cold of my hometown?

Do you remember how it's just begun?
When you introduced me to your friends
And how I timidly held your hand
And I thought that you're my number one.
What was the magical time...
Two months were passing imperceptibly.
I was drunk in everything about you, baby.
Until that day we had to say goodbye.

Our lives have simply separated,
I try to take time in the circle of my friends,
But no one can fill the emptiness in my heart
Which has appeared after those months in Ohio.
