Mommy calls the hot line to help.
His lies and deciet keeps her away.
Now he keeps her all to himself.

God, she crys alone, wanting Mommy,
After Daddy molests her innocense.
Her Mommy crys for her little girl.
It just don't make any sense.

Such an angel caught in systems.
She knows dad doesn't really care.
He keeps her from Mom and all.
His sexual pleasure's why she's still there.

God release her from his selfish hell.
She's only three, now wrecked for life.
There's no rush to save this angel child.
Paper work, interveiws, nothing but lies.

She knows mommy cries for her too.
Her little girl's the one he abuse alone.
Please release her, Jesus, you know
our little angel just wants to come home

Wow, this is so powerful, it made me cry.
How anyone could be so evil and self loathing that they could inflict such wickedness upon another - and to a little babe is beyond speech. I'm truly sorry. It really spoke to me, thankyou for sharing it even though how hard it must have been x x x

Perhaps a subject many think about but few are brave enough to tackle poetically.
Great work

I deal with this in my job as a social worker. People are afraid to talk about it. I am glad you were able to put it down in words for peope to try and understand. You also caught the system well, sometimes putting aside people/children for the paperwork and etc. Lovely.

You have written beautiful and tactful verses on a subject matter that rarely anyone would choose to write a poem about. But you have made a very touching poem on a very sad incident.
I love the way you presented it.

These words are killers.. I feel for the child, for the mother, and even for the man.. The little girl is the deepest tragedy trapped in a "home" of nightmare, the mother in being powerless to the situation due to "legality" is a close second, but i just can't help but to wonder.. what it takes to drive a person (if we can call him one) to such a pathetic low... What was he a victim of, and why does he feel the need, or have the desire to pass his pain along to anyone.. let alone his own daughter?
