Broken song

You're the love that would always fill
my heart with joy and thrill
the trickles of your laughter
intoxicating long after
your tender presence mirrored
by your kind and gentle spirit
you're the Juliet
that I never met
We used to walk the same old streets
at same rate two hearts beat
then your eyes upon me lay
but nervously I shied away
you're the girl destined to meet
sadly I chose another seat
you're the Juliet
that I never met
The stars were perfectly aligned
for our two souls to find
each other's meant to mate
now and forever it's too late
out of synch, in the wrong key
a broken song for you and me
you're the Juliet
that I never met
