Array ( [sid] => 154848 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Untitled [time] => 2009-11-08 14:57:19 [hometext] => Wow it's been quite a while since I logged on here, this is a really rough draft I forgot I even had found it in my journal lol [bodytext] => I've spent so much time waiting for love; but it honestly hasn't come my way,
So, what am I to do
Continue to spend my days, wasting away waiting on you?
I've been caught up in this game you love to play,

I know I asked for a lot,
But nothing is what I always got,
All I needed from you,
Was to feel that the words you spoke were true,

I asked you to be here,
But that was just something you weren't willing to do,
You said you were through,
So you left me to wallow in my own self doubt and fear,

Now you come around from time to time when your fun is over,
Or maybe when you're between lovers;
You claim you still love me,
But words just aren't enough don't you see?

You can't seem to understand me,
Why wouldn't I want something to do with someone who’s always going to abandon me?
The one thing I wanted that you could show me was passion,
Love without rhyme or reason; not just because it’s in fashion,

I waited and waited; but that was not something you could offer me,
Maybe it was my mistake, you I bared it all for you to see,
My deepest darkest secrets; my worst fears,
My hopes and dreams; every aspiration over the years,

Through it all you claimed to love me,
Through it all you've always left me,
I've warned you up front that I was just a mess,
And for a while you had me convinced that no matter what you'd still love me; I must confess,

But it turned out to be one twisted game,
You felt the need to play,
Coming and going as you please;
“I love you, I really do; it’s something that everyone else sees – why can't you?”
But, again you left; off to fill your own needs,
Leaving me once again to wallow in my shame; the woman I love probably doesn't even remember my name,
But you came back saying that love me; like you always do,
But truth be known - between your lover’s I'm just an over lay,

For years you have managed to keep me in the wings;
Always waiting for my turn,
What I wouldn't have given to be your adorn,
But I guess that I've always known that it’s not me, of which your love sings [comments] => 1 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Sahara [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Sad but awesome writing.
I know what this feels like but I also know some times it's best to just move on.
huggs, blessings,
emy
