Can't Relax

Topic: MiscPoems

Rain fallin on my back
As I try to get my soul on track
Everyone things my thoughts and acts
Are all insane and whack

Jokes in my brain
But my heart feels the worlds pain
It builds up and causes me to be my name

A psycho who knows
What to the world he owes

So I stand with a smile on my face
As I get into your personal space
Yeah go ahead and call me a disgrace
As I break your hundred dollar vase
Rather fill your home with gold and lace
Tell me your filled with grace
But I never see you come down from your holy base
If you see me you grab youre mace

The low class is what I represent
With words to get you all shook up and bent
From my own world and insanity I been sent
To cause you close minded fools to repent
I am the overflowing anger the world needed to vent

I am the shadow on your wall
The tears of the lost kid in the mall

I am the chill dancing down your spine
I am the beggar you refused to give a dime

I represent all the pain in the earth
Cursed from birth, to amplify the hurt
So hopefully someone can stop the madness
Find the worlds worth

I'm called a thug and demon
Causin your kids and wife runnin and screamin
But that's only because I'm enlightening them
While you wish to keep them dreamin

While I'm tha Yin, dark and cold
I'm also tha Yang, strong and bold
And without both aspects
The world will close and fold

So like Atlas
Under the worlds wieght I won't collapse
But I know now I can never relax
Because to slow down
Is to allow the world to relapse

Loved the beat in this poem.
You also touched on many real apsects of life today.

I also relate to the not slowing down for fear I may either be left behind or ran over in the process and that in fact is the truth these days.

Enjoyed the poem.

Michelle
