Array ( [sid] => 15437 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Scream [time] => 2003-04-01 22:42:02 [hometext] => Have you ever felt like your standing in the middle of a crowd of people, screaming at them to come and help you, save you, notice you, but no one cares? And there's nothing you can do to get them to notice you? That's how I feel... [bodytext] => I'm looking through these tear streamed eyes;
Windows showing me all the people walk by,
To them the world is beautiful, nothing will change their mind,
Don't they see me? Are they blind?

I'm standing in the middle of this mass crowd;
Natives to a different world I'm not allowed
To see the fun or hear the sounds,
So here I stand screaming out loud.

I'm screaming words of hurt, anger, pain;
Memories of my past, present, they're all the same,
Emotions I've collected since playing this twisted game,
But no one cares, even with me screaming this way.

Not one turns to look, they're scared of what they may find;
A broken girl, screaming painful cries,
Tired of living this way, and not knowing why,
Tired of being this whore, living this lie.

So I stand here, and scream at you,
But none of you have bothered to move
Towards me, to help me through,
Just left me to scream the night away,
Scream my life away,
Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 13 [informant] => M [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Dam awesome read, You have some talent there.
I love dark poetry but I prefer poetry like this one that is gripping and has a realism feel to it.
Keep up with the poetry I really look forward to reading some more.

this really is an amazing piece... my silent screams(if that makes any sense) are what kill me the fastest... the fact that i am screaming, but no one wants to hear, that is what does it... this really expresses that, great write..

this is so powerful - emotional and raw with enough realism to make it poignant. perhaps you might like my poem 'socially raped', its about the same thing - when you scream but nobody listens or cry and nobody sees. be strong always, keep writing, Kate x
