My Dream, My Condensating Succubus

Contributed by asian188 on Thursday, 22nd October 2009 @ 05:04:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

frozen goddess, joined with me atop the tallest peaks
gaze with me to the heavens that I could never reach
cover my barren, forsaken wasteland of *****(crap?) brown
with a forlorn and desolate crystal white abandon
for I am sickened by my own scenery

drowned princess, ruined beneath the seas, take solace.
vast as the oceans are, they are still cradled by the earth
know that where you sink, others have settled before you
kiss the monster of the deep, and awaken your guardian
for this slumbering beast will only stir at your behest

volatilized angel, violated by currents of battling winds
and battered against heinous mountains of malignant intent
if your hopes have dissolved, fall to my bleak embrace
I'll do all I can to mend your broken wings
for crushed as I am, I wish to see you fly

condensating succubus stop haunting my dreams
with condescending eyes of shattered secrets
and miserable smiles of burdened aspirations
I beg you, find comfort and solidity elsewhere
for close to my glacial heart, you'll freeze

The emotions in this just pulse with each word.
Incredible word usage, meter everything.
I felt it!
Good poem.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
