Sleepless Loneliness Tonight

Contributed by Alexa_Bachtel on Tuesday, 20th October 2009 @ 01:16:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

The night has never been so cold,
The stars have never been so bright,
Your kisses have never been so needed to me,
As much as tonight...

Tonight the things seems so old,
As if I lived so many lifes,
And in each of them I'm coming back here,
All by myself...

I have never so desperate for a friend,
I have never so desperate for love,
As my sleepless loneliness tonight
It seems like all my feelings fade away,
And my body's getting cold incessantly
Without your touches...

Help me to get away from here,
Break this damn never-ending circle
Because I hate so much to linger here
Never being loved...

Illusion has always been so frustrated,
Having brought nothing but the pain,
Because you'll appear for an instant
And appear at the bottom again,
So what chasm should I fall down
After you, can't you tell?

Why aren't you here when the night's so cold?
Why aren't you here when the stars are so bright?
Why aren't you here when I so need your kisses?
Where are you when I so desperate for a friend?
Where are you when I so desperate for love?
Where are you in my sleepless loneliness tonight?

You're not here, you're so far right now
Like a distant star I'm wishing on tonight.
