Speak, speak, I haven't had heard plenty,
There I was for you such obedient,
The obstinate white mare,
Tell me that I became pretty.
You've beckoned, you've beckoned - my wings got granted,
You have shown me by the eyes where I'm supposed to fly,
You've given to drink, given to drink water from your palms,
You said you'd never touch me, and then you've forgotten me
Tell me, tell me, I will suffer differently,
But not the truth, it's not pleasant for me,
I can't embrace you – my hands are bounded,
We float on one river, but boats are different.
You've beckoned me, you've beckoned me - my wings got granted,
You have shown me by the eyes where I'm supposed to fly,
You've given to drink, given to drink water from your palms,
You said you'd never touch me, and then you've forgotten me
The game's up, but cards of different suits ,
Oh, knowingly, still waters run deep
There's another one - I feel it even by my plaits,
But she cannot have you anyway.
You've beckoned, you've beckoned - my wings got granted,
You have shown me by the eyes where I'm supposed to fly,
You've given to drink, given to drink water from palms,
You said you'd never touch me, and then you've forgotten me
Leave, leave! But I stretch my hands …
Outta side, outta mind! But the pain remains …
Speak, speak at parting,
You just couldn't keep your word, darling.
You've beckoned me, you've beckoned me - my wings got granted,
You have shown me by the eyes where I'm supposed to fly,
You've given to drink, given to drink water from your palms,
You said you'd never touch me, and then you've forgotten me...
