Spiraling helplessly out of control...

Seeing no other way out of this *****,
With all my tools here; this time will be it.

I have nothing left to give -
wasted away; no reason to live.

My heart is gone; my brain is weak;
Overcome by feelings I won't speak.

Numb again from the inside out -
Overwhelmed by self loathing and doubt.

So I'll pull the trigger without fear -
my eyes won't leak one tear.

Drag those blades back across my canvass -
waiting for peace to take over at last.

Swallow my pain until the bottles are empty;
Wait for death to take over ever so gently.

Without me, they can laugh and be free -
In good time they won't even miss me.

Free them from this cycle of pain -
the only way I can brake the chain.

So I will find a way to let them go;
If I'm 6ft under maybe they won't even know.

I only hope they remember that I loved them -
I hope they remember me fondly every now and then.

Remember our stories read, cookies baked -
Remember the warmth of my hugs -
Remember that I loved loving them.

Ironic I would be the last person to give advice on suicide I'm a bit of a hypocrite for it. But, quote a saying dying is easy livings hard. There are really bad times in life trust me that much I can relate with, it all get's better eventually. Anyways if you would like to talk to someone about it I'd be glad to listen,
Great poem by the way,
Hope to read more soon

Very sad but great writing.
You convinced me that you meant what you wrote. I pray this is just great writing.
Indeed, "Dying is easy but living is hard."
Trust me I know. Still I choose life and God honers my choice. I write to live.
Huggs, blessings, healing,
emy
There's always much to write about.

Very good work. It rhymes well and flows perfectly, at least i thought it did.

Lots of emotion, best part about it, it made me feel as if i was in the poem.

Great job!!
