[bodytext] => I don’t know if he’ll be there tonight I don’t even know if he’s in the country But still… I felt the excitement when I heard the plans I felt myself tumble out into the sky Adrenaline flowed through my veins Causing my calm heart to beat rapidly My now excited heart screamed for more air So my lungs acquiesced by breathing quicker All this because of a boy? Because there is a chance of seeing him tonight? (I kept falling, adrenaline slowing dissipating) Stupid, I tell myself You’re getting excited and worked up for nothing (I fell closer, ever closer to the earth) I bet, as always, you won’t see him (Concern filled my head) And then you’ll be disappointed And that disappointment... Could cause the ruination of the night (I smacked into the earth and into cold reality) [comments] => 1 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 21 [informant] => jessb3 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
