A rose blossomed beneath the moonlight
each petal knew a unique grace,
the dew sparkled, drifting in a motionless pace.

My soul floated upon sweet delight,
It was our first date,
my heart beated like a joyous platoon,
a gentle breeze soon leapt into a blissful monsoon.

a red dress slow danced against the breeze,
a smile illuminated the night,
beautifully and gracefully you appeared,
a dreamer's sweetest fantasy decended and neared.

My smile took permanent residance
as we had our picnic under the stars,
the starry audience glowed with delight
A dream, two lovers aboard a passionate flight.

Your eyes held my soul and more
whilst fireworks fired beyond the sky
lighting a path we both may explore
beyond the infinite, a haven our hearts ly.

We then drifted beyond restricted borders
for one moment of eternal bliss,
you were the one my heart orders,
the only one I'd share this Moonlight Kiss.

this caught my eye because its my name!
but now that i've read it, i'm impressed! i
love this poem, it has so much content and
i love how it tells a story. great imagery and
use of words! i love detail; its what poetry
is all about; expressing your feelings and
painting a picture inside someone's head.

great job :)
