Blackie the puppy was hit by a truck
his corpse lies dead in the street,
but the hungry young children give silent thanks
for tonight they will have some fresh meat.
___________________________________________
Snowball the kitten lies dead on a road
and a little girl somewhere does cry,
but some people pass by and scoop up that dead cat
and make it into a delicious stir-fry.
______________________________________
Tweetie the budgie fell out of his cage
fell down to the floor and went 'S P L A T'
luckily he wasn't seriously hurt
- but he made a fine meal for the cat.
______________________________________
A man named Jake had a very large snake
that he kept strapped down in his pants,
sometimes he'd giggle when it started to wriggle
as he stood up and attempted to dance.
______________________________________
A fast moving truck hit a low flying duck
it wasn't a very nice sight,
there were bits scattered 'round all over the ground
and that duck's now incapable of flight!
________________________________________
Sammy the snake fell in love with a rake
but their lovelife is destined to fail,
what makes it so sad is his eyesight is bad
and he can't tell the head from the tail.
_________________________________________
Lollygobbleblissbomb, you told a big fat lie
Mommy took away your toys and almost made you cry,
Daddy gave them back again but punched you in the eye
never will you fib again - you know the reason why!
___________________________________________________
Don't forget your suntan lotion when you go swimming in the ocean
and you should never go swimming after dark,
for you'll very quickly learn that not only will you burn,
you might just get eaten by a shark!

English is a pain and it really is confusing
and it isn't very nice when some [find/fined] it amusing,
[to/too/two] laugh [aloud/allowed] at someone who really is [not/knot] dense
they just have a little problem with [which/witch] spelling makes more [sense/scents/cents].

Uggghhhhhhhh,
this will give the children night mares.
emy This in no way was a slam to the author or the writing. I was just reacting to the subject matter. emy
