If

love were a tree

then that you would be

consuming each ray of the

sun,

your leaves would be like

every kiss that we shared

since falling in love from day

one.

If

love was the rain

that nourished a flower

then that you would be

my

love.

were i but a moment

i'd live for an hour

thinking of you there

of.

If

love was the sea

when it kisses the shore

then that you would be

forever more,

unto your horizon

i'd love you so

while into your depths

my love would

flow.

If

love was a star

that glowed in the night

then that

you would certainly

be,

you'd make the moon

fall in love with moonlight

for the rest

of

eternity.

Ben

Hi Ben,

such a beautifully emotive write. Always you can weave the
most amazing emotions together with the most delicate words.
I ADORE the metaphor in the first verse. Absolutely gorgeous,
my friend.

Always a pleasure to visit your page ~

~ Breezy

Your poetry, the love, the soul you breathe into it
Always a joy for my soul
Love is the greatest thing to have
And yours is so pure so strong
For you and this special lady
Thank you
Kara
