Array ( [sid] => 15337 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Warning! [time] => 2003-03-31 16:25:00 [hometext] => When I was born the world received it's last warning.

Kane [bodytext] => Locked in a cage, a man full of rage,
You ask for compassion, the world showed no compassion to me,
Anger is fed, as blood is shed,
Razorblades enter the skin, releaseing the beast within,

You ask why I was bound to this cold and dismal place,
Not for any mortal sins, but the sight of my horrid face,
Burning in flames, Kane is my name,
Eyes black as night, as I take another life,

Tormented by my past, forgiveness never asked,
Waking up in cold sweats, a soul infected by pest,
Put a gun to my head, pull the trigger and I'm dead,
A casket built for me, finally my soul can be free,

It's like playing Russian rolette with the angel of death,
All bets on the table, and you dare tag me with a lable,
Step inside the prison of my mind,
Look into my eyes, my soul is where the distortion lies,

This beast that earned a mother's fear, followed by a false tear,
A shadow of a man, the world could never understand,
Listen to what I have to say, the world will pay,
The day I was born, the world received it's last warning.

Heart & Soul

Great write. Your style shows so much emotion and talent. Dark poetry is a style few can accomplish, but you have captured it in it's truest form in your works. Take care.
