[bodytext] => The Planet’s favour is mine. I caress the past gently With confident, loving lips And watch it settle peacefully Into a reverend orbit around The matrix of this faithful son. For now I walk upon A landscape of lions; Whose children wonder freely Among their tears and their joy; Where the pain of childhood is soothed By the balm of knowledge. I rested beneath an old oak tree And in a dream an angel Appeared in silence; Her smile was her gift, In whose understanding roars The laughter of love.
