Say that know a lot of my submissions from now on will be old poem I wrote a long time ago..Hope you like this one

I just don’t feel right
I’m leaving home tomorrow night
I don’t know what I’m going to do
Being away from everyone I know especially you

I’ll miss it all
But I need to get away
Here I’m set up for a big fall
There would be nothing you could say

I have to get away from here it’s all falling apart
I need a new start
I need to just leave and get away
And start off tomorrow away from it all and make it a better day

Because here it’s just misery [comments] => 5 [counter] => 265 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Voice of the Silent [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

kelly this is just fascinating and reminds me of one of my favourite
beatle songs. The last line really impacts the piece. I hope those
better days are full and present now. :)

good post!

i can relate well to this... but after leaving home and living somewhere else for a while, things werent 'right' even tho i felt more 'free' from the misery. i would always miss my room and such... i would get homesick

anyway, u've described your emotions nicely, and i'm sure many hav gone thru this wanting to run away.

take care

-K.Z.
