Her passing has left us with a void
Our lives will no longer be the same
Let’s all treasure those precious memories
Let’s never forget her name.

Some days will be dark and oh so cold
Be not afraid to display your sorrow
Hold on to the memory of your dear mother
And the Lord will guide you into tomorrow.

Her precious soul is now with the Lord
Amongst other flowers in bloom
I’m sure she is whispering down at us,
“Let not your hearts be in gloom.”

As she rests now in his saviour’s arms
Choruses of angels you will hear.
So rest in peace, Dear Mother,
Pain and suffering you’ll no longer bear.

Jenni, I'm so sorry for your loss and your family's loss. This is a
gorgeous tribute to her life. It's beautiful to see how much she
was loved. I wish I could articulate more, sweetie. Just know my
thoughts are with you and your wonderful family.

Blessings to you all ~

*hugs*

Sometimes it's good to write poems for loved ones. I wrote one for my Niece when her baby died and she still has it framed in her bedroom. You write really good rhyming poetry. My favorite.
