Its dark
Black
Sounds becomes colors
Four remaining senses becomes my vision
Remembering things last pictured in a frame
with my camara
soon will be fogotten
I have no memory stick
how will I save the face of my son?
The smile of my lover?
All is dark to me now.
I see only night
even though the sun shines......

Oh how heart wrenching! You've really outdone yourself with this
one, rose. I can truly feel the fear and anxiety one must feel at a time
like this. These moments are why I could never become a nurse or
anything else that has to do with the medical profession. My own pain
I can endure. But I could not hold anyone else's. I commend you and
all who do this. You are some of the bravest and most compassionate
people I know. The poem was so well written. It evokes much sorrow
and empathy.

The last two lines are as a dagger to the heart.

~ Breezy
