Array ( [sid] => 152726 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => the tormented prisoner [time] => 2009-08-30 00:09:05 [hometext] => Do you remember the day you heard those words? Two simple words used in almost every sentence but one that has the power to change the world. Four letters combine into the greatest word ever. Do you recall the feeling you had when you heard it? [bodytext] => I have been chained to the shadows which blind noble men. Tears of pain have not left my cheek I have cried the sorrow of many and felt the pain of few. True in my ways, lies to hide my flaws like a bandage over a wound. Terror and inevitable horror drip from my brow, chained to a wall arms and legs spread to their ends. Confined to a position that aged swiftly. I stand strong with weakness in my knees as terror drips to the concrete floor from my nose. My memory withers away from hope, until luminosity appears through my ceiling of suffering.
Warmth invades my senses a feeling of true sovereignty enters my mind. You cross the threshold as the steel entry slams locked. A glowing light illuminates your body, your eyes reassure me. You hover above the ground the angel that you are, your wings spread in a glorious splendor. I regain strength throughout my body my arms lock the chains straight. The rock wall begins to crumble as the holds lose their basis. One arm becomes free then the other, finally once more I am able to move them, they sting from years of immobilization. As the numbness fades I begin to regain sanity as feeling returns to me. My legs instantaneously break the chains binding them to the wall.
Your beauty helped me to regain hope, vitalize my strength, endure my pain, and regain my grip upon reality. I stand here a prisoner of my own demise still weak from countless years of torment and destruction I've caused to myself, my body dirty from the sweat of terror and the dust of horror. Floating toward me you lift a hand to wipe the dried blood from my head, you clean my wounds from the destruction. I stand, still weak from lack of movement, I fall and you catch me in your arms a man being held by a woman a human being saved by an angel. I feel the warmth that eased the twinge in my bones. You erase the twisted thoughts that haunt my mind and cause me to scream. the years of torment washed away. You carry me away to a wonderful and beautiful place, and you lay me down to receive a resting slumber.
