Seeking an abandoned womb to grow another way

Surrounded by so many,yet some regarded still by few
These are times of yesterday,just colder and more blue

We walk a path a thousand times,some just once to death
Consumed by pain of broken dreams,lost in one mere breath

Levelled by insanity,yet raised to hold the thought of hope
Words hover these empty pages in the struggle just to cope

Indifferent to the softer tones, as if we find belief too far
Always further than near reach,the ever wished on star

Everything seems overboard,to crawl upon a different shore
Bear witness to the the thief of time,as it steals a little more

All thats left are hidden memories of a place we cant recall
Yet we learn about its safeness as we grow outside its walls

Where in the soothing darkness,floating in our mothers' womb
We never knew the days to come and the time they would consume [comments] => 2 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 21 [informant] => ChenoaShiningwater [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
