Open your mind to possibility and it will come to you ;) [bodytext] => Never twice on a crystal sky,
Never does the eagle fly,
Once the red thunders roll,
A fall of feather, an eerie toll

Soaring across the mountain send,
Feathers fall, crash, never mend,
Lightning, not common like most,
To this the eagle shall never boast

A blue flash brings a second death,
Eyes close, a final breath,
To whom that seeks the chasms wall,
Shall only meet their sudden fall

That is why the feathers blow,
Once, not twice, as we know,
The crystal sky must be broken,
If life can be re-awoken [comments] => 3 [counter] => 164 [topic] => 19 [informant] => Xjordanary [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

i interpreted it as being that we should remove the barriers from our minds and fly joyfully in our own independence. Something like that anyway.

An interesting poem though with some good imagery.

Hi

Perhaps a call to learn from our mistakes - to
ensure they're not repeated. Would that apply
to marriage too, I wonder?

Just kidding .... my cynical sense of humour rises
again.

Well crafted verse - thought provoking, to say the least.

Tommy

This spoke to me of Pheonix Rising.

"The crystal sky must be broken,
If life can be re-awoken"

Mother Earth is in trouble and the damage done cannot be undone but instead,Earth reborn from ashes, with those who come to inhabit, hopefully more wise.

I really enjoyed this piece.
Thank you...and thank you for your kind comment as well.
