freedom

Topic: Lifepoems

Freedom is a give choice
what we had believed in for centuries
people want do t the things that they believe,,
that they feel and what they desire, to have
no matter what the situtation may be,

freedom of speech, no more,
freedom of reliegon, no more,
one marriage to man and woman, no more,
what freedom do we have,

they say dont do this or you will go too jail,
never call someone a name,
law suite will be on your head,
what freedom do we have,

were are losing what freedom that we do have to people who just dont care,
we dont judge what they do, so leave us alone,
we dont care what you believe in, leave us alone,
we dont care who you marry, just leave us alone,

they take away our famiy values,
they take away our reliegon,
they take away belief,
they'll take my freedom,

one day ours words that we write will be no more,,,
our childrens children will never know the words that we have written,
the dreams, the hope's, the Love's, the happiness,
those words that were inspired by those who wrote their words,
what will become of them, who will show them the words that we have written,

what will they have to believe in?

craig s. meeks

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
