I hope you know you're trapped
with someone you can't change
I've been this way for far too long
This bird wasn't meant for a cage
Another day of compromise
I simply can not bear
The sound of your constant insults
The cold void stare you glare
That's not the routine
That wasn't the plan
You ***** & complain
I've taken all I can stand
I'm loud
I'm a slob
I'm white trash
You will say
The bottom line is ***** IT!
So ***** YOU I will say
Everything you hate about me
Is everything they all love
So why would you try to change me?
For them I'm good enough
There is so much more hurt now
It overshaddows the love
I guess that makes you the cage
I must be the Dove
