[bodytext] => 3 years 6 months Doesn't seem like a long time I tell you what-It's not to you But you'll understand By the end of this rhyme He batted .435 his senior year & .425 as a jr. His parents had to put up a cyclone fence Just to fend off all the recruiters He was leaving for college Destined for big things California Berkeley his choice Unfortunately He never got to fullfill his lifelong dreams 2 days before summer ball was slated to start He was headed home & took his normal shortcut through the park Darker than the lights off It usually was Tonight it was different There was a eerie little buzz The smell of the embers The bright flames Is this a dream?
