Half-pensive,
Would you shortly give
Your pinch of eagerness?
Or would stout tears ossify to
Vesuvian glory?
To say this night is framed and terrible--and Armageddon

Is the light of bracing day?
We have suspected to blandness, and the jab that's
Glee's was often winking.

For, the sleeping giant is more active proverb
Than his storied cousin…
